Extreme Sports Expo showcases the world of extreme action sports to the public, and educates them by revealing things not normally seen during a TV broadcast or live event. Visitors get to check out what really goes on behind each action sport – the dedication, passion, hard work, patience, equipment and of course, courage. This never before revealed insight helps you gain a better understanding and may perhaps inspire many kids to take up extreme sports. In other words, people get to see the raw science behind these sports.

The Extreme Sports Expo to be held at Science Museum Oklahoma, situated in the popular Adventure District of downtown Oklahoma City, will feature BMX demonstrations, rock climbing and great prize-winning contests for the public to participate in. Visitors can look forward to MAWI Cable Park, BC Longboards, Flip'd, Sun and Ski, OKC Kayak and Edmond Summit. The other ingredients of the show are the screenings of two great IMAX films, "Extreme" and "Everest." The former would be released during the event and features some of the most brilliant panoramic and up close action shots of rock climbing, skiing and surfing, while the latter is an award winner. There will also be adventure sports retailers for those of you who wish to get hold of some useful stuff.
