How to Overcome Panic Attacks Without Drugs - Simple Ways to Get Rid of Anxiety Attacks

In order to understand how to overcome panic attacks you will require experiencing these attacks.
Only sufferers of these attacks can understand how bad and debilitating condition this can be.
Some of the common symptoms of panic disorder are palpitations, accelerated heartbeat, pins and needles in your fingers, shortness of breath, stomachache, feeling of tightness in the throat etc.
Many suffers undergo treatment using prescription drugs.
However these drugs do not address the root cause of the problem.
They work on the symptoms.
Because of this you may have to take these drugs permanently.
If you stop the drugs you will have withdrawal symptoms and your panic attacks would return.
Before you jump on to drugs and medicines you should try natural remedies to overcome panic attacks.
Here are some simple tips.
1) Identify the fears that are causing you these attacks.
Most people have fearful thoughts that trigger these attacks.
Once you have a list of fears, mentally prepare yourself.
You need to talk to yourself and convince your mind that these fears are unrealistic.
Some of these fears may happen.
However the chances of fear becoming true may be a remote possibility only.
2) If you want to really overcome panic attacks then you will need to learn to relax.
If you have a relaxed mind, then you will be able to execute the plans you have.
For example if breathing exercise is part of your plan, then try doing it with a relaxed mind.
Getting anxious will make you breath fast and quick through your chest and this will worsen your condition.
3) Have your plan of action written down on paper.
If you are unable to remember and execute them during an attack, take help of a friend or a relative.
They can refer to your plan on paper and guide you to perform some of those planned activities.
With a little bit of help you will be able to do the planned activities when you experience an attack the second or third time.
Over a period of time you can master some of the activities and it will become a natural response to overcome panic attacks.
