* Cover up all low lying plug points for they tend to push their fingers into them.
* Gas burners and stoves should be kept out of reach of toddlers.

Pay attention to his eating habits. Elders should never make a fuss about food in front of a toddler. Before feeding a child make sure that he does not have any food allergy.

From the very beginning show him the etiquettes of having food. Softly show him how he should eat his food. Never allow him to waste. Do not go around feeding him instead make him sit in one place and have his food.

Step by step show him how to eat on his own without spilling. You will notice how he is enjoying him self.

How can you keep your toddler occupied? Just play with him and not let him be alone. Kids of this age love to gain knowledge and explore about the entire house. So sit down with him and show him the colorful books of animals, birds, flowers and others.

The most important thing to cultivate in toddlers is the toilet habit. Try to make him understand the necessity if cleanliness and within a few weeks you will see that your hard work has been rewarded. The child has developed the necessary good habits necessary for his age.
