There's a lot on the web about how to start an Internet business.
But how many web site providers on this subject really truly provide the how to and personal support? It seems that more and more now, eBook and ecourse authors give you the 'what' about starting an Internet business rather than the 'how'.
OK, I understand if it is in a free giveaway eBook or ecourse, because that is the promotional or advertising source of the product.
But, when that promotional leads you to a paid e-book, e-course, e-program or e-system, there you expect to get the 'how to' that you're paying for.
Unfortunately, not many do and I have come across this more often than I would like to think of.
Just recently, I bought a one-thousand-dollar-plus program from an internet marketing leader I had been watching over the last couple of years.
Everything in the promotionals looked great.
It was going to tell me, show me, everything I was looking for.
However, in spite of that pricey ticket, I still found it was mostly all about the "what" and not the "how" I had been promised.
I'm not kidding and I'm not exaggerating.
And that provider is not the only one.
I have seen more than I can count of this type of hype on the Internet, and even from well known successful internet marketers, which is disappointing indeed.
My observation of all this is that it seems to be getting worse.
I just attended a large Internet marketing training event and the speaker/teacher on the stage actually said it out loud to the packed audience of learners, "You give them the 'what' and not the 'how' ".
The problem is that this pertains to promotional freebies.
Not paid products! The audience doesn't know this.
So they turn around and do the same within their paid products.
What's happened in a lot of cases -- and I mean a lot -- the marketers are applying it to their paid products that each leads to "another level of training".
It might take several training levels before you finally get what you've been looking for.
Is that right, I ask you? I don't think so.
I'm not ranting.
I'm talking about reality on the web.
There is so much of this, that sincere folks looking for information on 'how to' start, build and grow an Internet business are going to have to go through a long, frustrating searching and reading time before they arrive at a place where they truly get the information they need now.
So, what's the solution? Well, for one thing, I'm trying to change that.
I can't change the whole Internet giant but I can begin by changing my approach toward the services I provide to my prospects and clients.
And I hope that more will 'get it' also.
So, how do you start an Internet business? Well, in this article I can give you the what you'll need to do in 7 steps.
1.

2.
