- 1). Find a photograph that you want the code for and save it or upload it to your computer.
- 2). Visit an image-hosting website (e.g., Photobucket, TinyPic, Image Shack, etc).
- 3). Sign up for an account and confirm your e-mail address (if required). Sign in with your user name and password.
- 4). Find the "Upload" option. Locate the image on your computer, select it and click "OK." Upload the photo.
- 5). Locate the direct link to your image (it should just be a simple URL: http://www.image.gif). Copy the direct link.
- 6). Create a code by typing the following: <img src="">
- 7). Paste the direct link in between the quotations. This is your image code. The image code may be posted on social networking sites, forums, websites and anywhere where HTML code is allowed.
