These ads make home business seem so easy and most people jump in on many of these claims.
I have heard from many people about how many of these claims they have tried.
I have actually tried some of them myself.
So I can say from personal experience that they really do take more time than they advertise, especially for newbies.
For those experienced in network marketing and the like, it takes a lot less time for them because they know what to do to make it work.
However for those new to the business, they may work their businesses 3 hours a day, but the extra time it will take for them to actually learn what works will take more than 3 hours.
Since they are new, they will need to read as much as they can on their type of business, whether it is affiliate marketing or something else.
The more you learn, the better you will be at it.
With these types of ads, they advertise to you that will be mentored by a successful person who has been in the business for x amount of time and will tell you exactly what you need to do in order to hit it big in so little time.
Well, regardless of what "mentoring" and information they give you, just remember that YOU are the one who still has to go out and do it.
It does not mean that you will be able to just do one little thing and the money will come pouring in immediately.
You will be the one who will need to go out there into the world wide web and market whatever products or service you have signed up to sell.
And I repeat again, for the newbie, this is a lot of work (at least for the beginning).
Once you have learnt the "system" from whatever person you got it from, you will want to and you will need to learn more.
I guarantee you that you will come across many sites and countless e-books that will seem to be a good read and a lot of them are.
You will be prompted to join so many newsletters claiming to teach you how to be better at this and that will teach you how to get more visitors to your site and so on and so on.
And as I have heard countless successful people say, you should always try to learn as much as you can in this business (online home businesses).
I have read so much already and I have not been in this for a year yet.
I have countless e-books that I have not touched yet.
The knowledge that you can gain by reading and learning is priceless.
Of course, you will not be able to learn much by just working for 3 hours a day.
3 hours a day will be just working your business.
If you want to succeed with your business, as quickly as you can, then you will need to work longer hours that what is claimed in all those ads you see.
And with the time you have left, it is very wise to expand your knowledge.
As the saying goes, "You can never learn too much about anything" (or something like that).
One more thing, just remember that he beauty of working at home is the flexibility of it.
If you feel like sleeping late, hey, it's your business.
If you feel like working till 3 o'clock in the morning, go right ahead.
You can work as little or as much as you want.
But then again, the more you work, the quicker you will see results.
