Double Strollers For Infant And Toddler

Double strollers are very convenient for parents who have at least two children. Whether you have young twins or an infant and a toddler, double strollers can simplify traveling, no matter where you are going. The best part about double strollers is that nowadays, you can find them in an incredible variety of styles optimized for every trip you could dream of throwing at them. The basic designs are the side-by-side stroller and the tandem stroller. Tandem strollers are becoming more and more popular for a variety of reasons such as ease of use, weight, and maneuverability due to their narrower form. Beyond these basics, some strollers are made especially for joggers and feature side-by-side seating and fixed front wheels. If you intend to get off the sidewalk and head for the untamed trails, there are all-terrain, sports utility strollers. These strollers are light weight, have extra protection and many ergonomic grip options for holding and pushing comfortably. They are also specially made to absorb bumps in the path in order to keep their passengers contented.

Extra stroller features come at the cost of additional space, meaning that they can be bulky and difficult to maneuver in tight spaces. This means that when making a stroller purchase, you should consider your vehicle and whether or not it is large enough for the transportation of the stroller that you are considering. The biggest cost from extra features however, is the cost.

There are all kinds of speciality double strollers as well. For example I like to jog quite a bit. It's very easy to find a wide variety of joggers or jogging strollers. The doubles are large, but not overly large and can also serve as a day to day stroller in most cases.

Whether you want an umbrella stroller, an extra lightweight stroller, an all-terrain stroller, a Sit and Stand stroller, a bike-compatible stroller, or some combination of these and many more options, you will find your price range varying drastically. A basic double stroller starts at around 80 dollars, which is very inexpensive compared to strollers higher in the range that hover around 400 dollars and can even reach 800 dollars in some cases. To combat this, shopping online or at large department stores instead of smaller baby specialty stores can be a smart idea that will save you a lot of money. If you do buy online though, it's smart to catch up on a few reviews first. Most online stores have a customer review system and they are actually pretty reliable.
